### Aliyah's Diary Secret
Ali found a note on the next page of Aliyah's diary: "The most precious thing for me is the necklace my mother gave me. But my mother also shared another secret with me—my father's treasure is hidden deep within the desert. To reach it, one must pass through seven difficult trials. My father hid this treasure to protect our family."
Ali shared this revelation with his friends and said:
**Ali:**
"Friends, if we manage to find this treasure, it could change our lives. Will you all join me on this quest?"
Five boys and three girls agreed to join Ali in the search for the treasure.

### First Step – Aliyah's Palace
The group decided to start their journey at Aliyah's palace, as mentioned in the diary. The palace was very old and dilapidated, making it difficult to figure out which room belonged to Aliyah.
**Ravi (a friend):** "Ali, this palace is practically a ruin. How will we figure out which room was Aliyah's?"
**Ali:**
"The diary mentions that she often looked out of the window at a small fort. We need to find the spot with that view."
They looked around the palace in every nook and cranny until they found a place from where they could see a small fort in the distance.
**Sana (a friend):**
"This must be the place. But how do we reach that fort now?"

### The Trials Begin
#### **1. Sandstorm**
As they began their journey in the cool night air, they were hit by a fierce sandstorm.
They covered their faces with cloth to shield their eyes and noses from the sand.
Ravi got separated from the group in the storm.
**Ravi:**
"Leave me here. You all go ahead."
But the rest of the team acted bravely, dragged Ravi by hand and took him back to safety.
**2. The Venomous Land**
After withstanding the sandstorm, they entered a land that had venomous snakes all around. The snakes lay quietly under the sand waiting for their prey. Each step had to be taken very cautiously.
First Steps in Snake Territory
With a long stick, they kept tapping the ground with it as they moved forward in a bid to scare any snakes that might be hidden underneath. However, not all snakes were easily frightened off.
As Arjun walked on a narrow path, his foot sunk into the sand, causing him to lose balance. Within a split second, a snake emerged from the sand and bit him.
The snake's venom started to work its magic quickly. Arjun's body started shaking, his face paled, and sweat ran down his forehead.
**Arjun:** "You all go ahead. The treasure is more important. Leave me here."
But Ravi and Sana clung to Arjun and supported him on his feet.

### Carrying Arjun to Safety
The group decided to get Arjun back to the palace where they had found the first clue. Sana and Ravi used bits of cloth from their backpacks to bind around Arjun's leg, to try to slow down the venomous spread.
They lifted Arjun onto their shoulders and carried him through the cold winds and challenging terrain. Every step was a test of their strength and determination. After two exhausting hours, they finally reached the palace.

### Treating Arjun
Once inside the palace, they used a herbal oil they had previously found in a corner of the ruins.
**Sana:**
"If we apply this oil to the bite and massage it gently, it might slow the poison's effect."
After a couple of hours of rest along with treatment from the medicinal oil, Arjun started recuperating.
**Arjun (smiling weakly):**
"Thanks everybody. You've made me realize that no matter what the mission is, friend and life come first above all."

### Inching towards the Fort and the First Clue
The group finally found the small fort. In it, they found an ancient stone with strange inscriptions carved on it.
They cleaned the stone and read the message:
**"The path ahead will demand courage and sacrifice. The first trial is over. The second trial begins now."**
Beneath the inscription was an arrow pointing deeper into the desert.
